Life's a Beach

Even on the windiest of days, there are a few brave souls who champion the choppy waters in kayaks! Kaitlin and Jaimie headed out today all smiles, ready for a challenge as they prepared to explore the bay in one of the Waterfront Center’s many kayaks. Jaimie said she had taken a course in kayaking in college, and took the opportunity to give it a go once again when she heard about the Waterfront Center through a friend. The girls were okay with getting wet, and fearlessly headed out into the bay for the afternoon!

It was also a great day for sailing: the sun was out and the breeze was high, and as Kaitlin and Jaime headed out with their kayak and paddle, an adventurous group of sailors were on their way in from a windy morning on the Sonars. Needless to say, they were excited to get out in such great conditions!
